The Alternative Road to Paris: Examining the UN Climate Summit

As the world turns to Paris for the United Nations Climate Summit in December, this special panel will feature government and private practitioners, as well as New School faculty, involved in the historic event. This panel will be moderated by Joel Towers, Executive Dean of Parsons School of Design. There will be a special presentation by Shagun Mehrotra, Professor of Sustainable Development at the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy. Panelists include:

  • Shay O'Reilly, Center for Earth Ethics

  • Ambassador Lizzy Flores, Permanent Representative of Honduras

  • Michael Cohen, Director, Studley Graduate Program in International Affairs, and Professor of International Affairs, Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy

  • Ana Baptista, Associate Director, Tishman Environment and Design Center, and Interim Chair, Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management
